Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), the world's largest fully accredited university specializing in aviation and aerospace meets the needs of students and industry through its educational, training, research, and consulting activities. Embry-Riddle educates 27,000 students annually, including certificates and Associate, Bachelor and Master's degrees, at residential campuses in Prescott, Arizona, and Daytona Beach, Florida, and at the over 130 teaching centers Worldwide, in the United States, Europe and the Middle East.

ERAU has been delivering aeronautical education programs throughout Europe since 1972. During those three decades, more than six thousand students, stationed in eight European countries, have earned undergraduate and graduate degrees, and have gone on to pursue successful careers both in the military and in industry.

The University's degree programs include:

The Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics degree program, which is designed specifically for students who work, have worked, or desire to work in aviation related careers. For students with existing aviation related knowledge and skills, the program recognizes those skills through award of advanced standing prior-learning credit. Aviation experience is no longer a requirement for admission.

In the Bachelor of Science in Technical Management, students learn how to apply specific management skills to their technical specialty. The degree offers a solid general education core, coupled with a solid block of management courses, topped off with a technical core in aviation/aerospace management courses. Also available are specializations in Logistics, Occupational Safety and Health, and Professional Valuations.

The Master of Aeronautical Science degree enables aviation/aerospace professionals to master the application of concepts, methods, and tools used in the development, manufacture, and operation of aircraft and spacecraft, as well as the public and business infrastructure that support them. Specializations are available in Aviation/Aerospace Management, Operations, Human Factors and Safety. Although aviation experience is useful, pilot qualifications are not required.

The Master of Science in Management degree is targeted for students who need and desire a focused management degree, but are looking for degree with a more operational approach than the traditional MBA. The degree is a thirty-six (36) semester-hour degree comprised of a strong management core of twenty-four (24) semester-hours and the opportunity for several different areas of concentration or specialization. Specializations include: Air Transportation Management, Aviation/Aerospace Industrial Management, Aviation and Aerospace Security, Aviation Enterprises in the Global Environment, and Management of Integrated Logistics.
