TKS SURF 'N' TALK FLAT RATE FOR INTERNET AND U.S.A. CALLS

Kaiserslautern, Germany - November 02, 2007 - This fall TKS introduced a brand new DSL and phone bundle called TKS Surf 'n' Talk. This new money-saving service package features a monthly flat rate for phone calls to the U.S.A., Germany and 24 other countries, with discounted direct dialing rates to over 200 other countries across the globe. The unlimited broadband Internet access features a speedy T-DSL 6000 connection - all for a flat rate of less then 50 Euro per month.

Customers also save over 160.00 Euro on the regular DSL start-up costs. With TKS Surf 'n' Talk, DSL activation and a DSL modem are included free of charge. (Normally 99.95 and 69.00 Euro respectively.)

TKS Surf 'n' Talk is available on- or off-base Germany-wide, with either a standard or ISDN phone line, wherever a DSL connection is feasible. The service may be requested at any TKSShop.

TKS Surf 'n' Talk subscribers can also count on all of TKS's other standard English-language features including English customer care, technical support and billing; easy no-fee payments at any on-base TKSShop, and TKS Bills Via Email for on-time anywhere delivery.

TKS Surf 'n' Talk Qualifications

Similar to the phone and Internet service-packages that are currently being offered in Germany (and also in the U.S.A.) TKS Surf 'n' Talk also does have a minimum contract duration; either 12 or 24 months may be selected.

It is therefore TKS policy to disclose the contractual requirements of TKS Surf 'n' Talk to each and every potential subscriber and to provide the contractual stipulations - in writing, in English - prior to sign-up.* As an added benefit, the TKS service agreement will not automatically rollover or renew automatically as it does with many other German offers, but can be cancelled anytime once the minimum duration as been met, with a 30-day notification period.

TKS strongly urges military personnel to consider all options before entering any type of longer-term service agreement. TKS does offer several cost-effective DSL flat rates and discounted telephone plans with no minimum duration that can also be recommended for the short-term.

*Other than TKS, most German telecos have either no or only very scanty English language customer support or documentation. This linguistic shortcoming can prove to be problematic when important contract-related information is not effectively communicated prior to sign-up. Once executed, German service agreements are normally binding, even for temporary residents.
